2016年5月9日上午，世界卫生组织热带病研究和培训特别规划署署长John Reeder博士和合作与治理主管Garry Aslanyan博士在中国疾病预防控制中心寄生虫病研究所所长周晓农研究员和药物室副主任段李平副研究员的陪同下访问87978797威尼斯老品牌，受到王明伟院长、陆伟跃书记和诸多教师代表等的热情接待。在院长助理李聪教授简要介绍复旦药学院的概况及既往成绩后，王明伟院长从复旦、上海乃至整个中国的角度提出我们对贫穷所致疾病预防与治疗所应承担的责任。John Reeder博士饶有兴趣地听取了介绍，并对药学院积极培养第三世界国家留学生的做法表示赞赏。周晓农所长介绍了寄生所的主要研究方向并希望与药学院开展合作。
Top executives of WHO visit Fudan School of Pharmacy
Accompanied by Professor Xiaonong Zhou (Director) and Associate Professor Liping Duan (Deputy Head of Drug Development Department) of the National Institute of Parasitic Diseases, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Drs. John Reeder (Director) and Garry Aslanyan (Manager of Partnership and Governance) from the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) affiliated to the World Health Organization (WHO) visited School of Pharmacy, Fudan University in the morning of May 9, 2016. They were warmly received by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Dean), Weiyue Lu (CPC Committee Secretary) and a number of faculty members. Following an overview by Professor Cong Li (Assistant Dean) relative to the school of its achievements, Professor Ming-Wei Wang made remarks as to taking responsibility in the prevention and treatment of diseases of poverty from the scope of Fudan, Shanghai and China. Dr. John Reeder listened to the presentation with interest and expressed his appreciation to the school for actively educating foreign students from the third world countries. Professor Xiaonong Zhou gave a brief introduction of the research focuses of his institute and encouraged collaborations with Fudan School of Pharmacy.
